Word of the month: Ailments, this month has spiked with aches and pains. Not sure if my body is just adjusting or revolting
Jamming out to: Flume's Insane (it feels a bit like my anthem this month)
Sleeping: Fatigue has really set in this month too, so I've been happily going to bed at 9pm. Sleeping itself has been restful, although some mornings I fear moving to see how sore my body is.
Reading: Finished Dust (a fictional dystopia book), started the Racing Weight
Craving: Healthful foods, I still want something sweet but I'm looking for more it in fruits and dark chocolate
Nutrition: Still a work in progress. I've been getting up an hour before my long rides and taking in usually some kind of bread and peanut butter and an Ensure. Then during rides, gels and some sort of caloric bar. My goal is to not get done with training and feel hungry (then I know I didn't consume enough).
Feeling:
Swim- frustrated, I haven't really seen growth in my speed this month, not sure what's going on but all the missed workouts didn't help
Bike- cautious, I'm really looking at cycling as the place to not go too crazy because I've got to have the legs to get through a half marathon
Run- pain, running is leaving me with some weird pain in the front of my hips, not sure what that's all about
High- Clocking in 36 hours of training in a 28 day month and seeing that I've burned 13,529 calories!
Low- Having this pain pop up in my hips and back of the knees
